Maynard's Stories
When the worries and hubbub of the world bum you
out, take a break and let your inner-child enjoy somethin' silly. Clean
drinkin' water is good for a thirsty body and clean humor is good for a
thirsty soul.
Sincerely, Maynard 9/12/06

Maynard would like to someday have his stories published. And if he does, he would like to illustrate them as well. If you would like to share any thoughts about this venture, please feel free to post your comments in the Maynardland Guest Book. The Maynard Brothers look forward to hearing from you.

Island Retreat

During his recent visit to Hawaii (Sept. 25- Oct. 17), Maynard admits that he spent more time snorkling than writing. However, while he was underwater, the fish told some good stories.
Sept. 29, '06 This morning, while enjoying the view from their rental car, Maynard and his brother, Maynardio, wrote a radio commercial. Later, during a recording session, Maynardio performed the script using cartoon voices.
Another big kid who likes children's books...

Maynardio's musical friend, Keith Lowe, is seen here, wrestling with his acoustic bass. Maynardio and Keith have both had an interest in children's books for many years. In July, Keith and his friend, Emma, sent Maynardio a lovely hard bound copy of the classic, 'Wind in the Willows' (Maynardio's favorite children's book).
Keith is a professional musician and he lives in Seattle. He has also been developing his skills as a book binder. Visit his website at: Moonliner.com
For 33 days (starting on August 10th, 2006), the Maynard Brothers posted the following question on the Maynardland Home Page:
"QUESTION: If Maynard wrote a story and turned it into a book and/or audio CD, do you think people might have an interest in it? Please write your comment in the Guest Book, thank you! (All messages are read and appreciated)."
We read each response with great interest and we thank you for taking the time to reply.
