- Enjoy Life! -

Life is a precious gift and it goes by pretty fast, so why not make the most of it? Through the years, I have asked people this question: "Is there anything new or interesting going on in your life?" And surprisingly, about 95 percent of the time, their response has been, "No".
On the other hand, young children are able to create something new or interesting out of nothing, by using their imagination. Children are masters of imagination, and when an imagination master walks into a room, a simple cardboard box becomes a spaceship or medieval castle.
However, as children learn how to become "grown up"
they often forget the value of their own imagination. And along with their
imagination, children often lose their sense of wonder and curiosity.
As the child "grows up", even the term, "education" changes its meaning. Curiosity stirs up a healthy enthusiasm to learn, but more times than not, adults use the term "education" only as it relates to ones income or social status.
Having a good income or a fancy job title can be great, but if a person loses his or her curiosity, imagination or sense of wonder, their lives can become rather dull.
Perhaps if we adults were able to see the world through a child's eyes again (at least once in a while), we too might find more enjoyment in life.
